Shaping the Future of Medical Simulation
Exonicus’s mission is to save lives by transforming how medical and defense professionals train for high-stakes situations. We develop state-of-the-art virtual reality simulators that allow first responders and clinicians to build and refine their skills in realistic, controlled environments, advancing readiness, education, and patient care.
Our Story
Exonicus was founded on a deep passion for innovation and creativity. Our journey began in 2013, when founder Sandis Kondrats, a visionary with roots in sculpting and design, began exploring how lifelike visualization could improve medical education. His earlier venture, Anatomy Next, laid the groundwork for applying artistic precision to medical simulation.
By 2015, with the emergence of VR technology, our team turned high-resolution anatomical models into immersive training environments. In 2017, Exonicus partnered with the Madigan Army Medical Center to develop a trauma simulation training platform for the U.S. Army, marking the creation of the Exonicus Trauma Simulator™, the first of its kind in VR.
Today, Exonicus, Inc. is headquartered in Seattle, Washington, with a wholly owned European subsidiary, Exonicus EU, supporting research, development, and partnership operations across NATO and EU programs.
Together, our U.S. and European teams combine medical, engineering, and strategic expertise to deliver cutting-edge simulation technology that enhances readiness, improves education, and ultimately saves lives.
