Your team of 2 medics and 1 physician will return in 10 to 15 minutes. The nearest surgical facility is 1 hour away. You estimate 5 to 10 casualties need assessment. This scenario is a guided introduction to the SALT triage process. You will not be assessed on the speed of your treatment. The primary learning objective is to assess a casualty who is responsive but unable to follow movement commands, and to practice assigning a YELLOW (Delayed) tag. The estimated time to complete this scenario is 10 minutes. This scenario occurs in the Tactical Field Care Phase. Equipment Available: Combat Medic Bag.
